Omfang

This European Standard specifies the performance requirements and test methods for temporary edge protection systems for use during the construction or maintenance of buildings and other structures. These requirements are intended to prevent the falls of persons or materials from the open edge, e.g. the edge of a floor slab during construction or from open roof edges, plus stairways and excavation edges. The document covers both flat and inclined surfaces.
