Omfang

The present document specifies test methods and performance requirements for wireless and wired Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) devices such as headsets, earphones, headphones, hearables, and other ear worn devices (herein referred to as devices). The test methods and performance requirements cover the various functionalities of ANC devices including e.g. noise cancellation, media playback, voice calls, and pass-through mode. ANC performance metrics and requirements for handsets are out of scope.
