The object of the test is to determine the performance of pressure relief devices. These tests determine one or more of the following: dimensional, operational, and mechanical characteristics relieving pressure relieving flow capacity at test pressure individual flow resistance Procedures for conducting the tests, calculating the results, and making corrections are defined.
