Omfang

This document specifies the minimum safety and performance requirements for vent valves up to 150 mm nominal size for use on — (a) natural gas (NG); (b) simulated natural gas (SNG); (c) town gas (TG); (d) tempered liquefied petroleum (TLP) gas; and (e) liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in vapour phase. Conformance of a vent valve to this document does not imply that it is acceptable for use without supplementary tests in its intended application. NOTE For requirements relating to vent valves incorporated in a combination control, refer to AS 4624.
