Abstract

1. Scope--This recommended practice provides a standardized testprocedure for heavy-duty truck sleeper berth restraints to determinewhether they meet the FMCSR 393.76 requirements. 1.1 Purpose--This document was developed to determine if a trucksleeper berth restraint is adequate to sustain a predetermined maximumhorizontal load such as required by FMCSR regulation 393.76(h).
