Abstract

The document specifies micro hardness tests on transverse sections of arc welded joints of metallic materials with high hardness gradients. It covers Vickers hardness tests in accordance with ISO 6507-1 and/or ISO 6507-2, normally with test loads of 0, 98 N to 49 N (HV 0, 1 to HV 5). It does not cover the hardness test as described in ISO 9015-1.
