Abstract

As a basis for acceptance tests for electron beam welding machines, the parameters and limit deviations belonging to this are prescribed for accelerated voltage, beam current, lens current, welding speed, movement accuracy and welding point position tolerance. Acceptance tests prove that the electron beam welding machine is suitable to make highgrade welded joints of constant quality.
