Abstract

The standard gives requirements for the design of concrete structures. Design in accordance with this standard includes establishing basic project assumptions, preparation of structural calculations, drawings and other required documentation, and specification of requirements for materials, execution and inspection. The standard applies to concrete with both normal and lightweight aggregates, with the specified materials and within the given concrete grades. The standard presupposes that the design is performed by skilled personnel with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge.
