Abstract

The present document specifies test methods and performance requirements for wireless and wired Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) devices such as headsets, earphones, headphones, hearables, and other ear worn devices (herein referred to as devices). The test methods and performance requirements cover ANC and other audio quality aspects related to the headset functionality as a communication and media consumption acoustic interface. ANC performance metrics and requirements for handsets are out of scope.
