Abstract

The present document contains functional requirements for licence-exempt FWA in general and a basic sharing and interference assessment based on [i] to investigate feasibility of providing licence-exempt FWA in the band 5,725 GHz to 5,875 GHz. It also proposes terms to facilitate this sharing and describes expected market information and compatibility issues. The present document defines those requirements for Licence Exempt Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), which can affect radio frequencies in the sense of the international Radio Regulations. It includes necessary information to support the co-operation between ETSI and the Electronic Communications Committee (ECC) of the European Conference of Post and Telecommunications administrations (CEPT), including: Detailed market information (annex A); Technical information (annex B); Expected compatibility issues (annex C).
