Abstract

This European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) specifies the technical characteristics to be met by Group 3 facsimile equipment to enable reliable document interchange between compliant equipment. The ETS does not contain the requirements for Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) access, Safety or Electromagnetic Compatibility. All tests necessary to check conformance to this ETS are included in Annex B (normative), which is an integral part of this ETS.
