Abstract

The present document concerns the assessment of Citizens' Band (CB) radio equipment intended for the transmission of speech and associated support equipment with regard to ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC).  Requirements relating to the antenna port and emissions from the housing port of CB radio equipment are not included in the present document. Such requirements can be found in the relevant product standards for the effective use of the radio spectrum.  NOTE: The relationship between the present document and the essential requirements of article 3.1(b) of Directive 2014/53/EU [i.4] is given in annex A.
