Abstract

This standard describes poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride)* for use in the treatment of potable water, wastewater, and reclaimed water. Purpose The purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum requirements for polyDADMAC products, including physical, chemical, packaging, shipping, and testing requirements, and to provide the means of developing requirements for specific polyDADMAC products. * Diallyldimethylammonium chloride is hereinafter abbreviated “DADMAC.” Poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) is abbreviated “polyDADMAC.”
