Abstract

This document sets out essential requirements for gas equipment. The following are excluded: (a) Gas appliances specifically designed for use in industrial processes carried out on industrial premises. (b) Fuel cells. NOTE 1 Other issues related to fitness for purpose, serviceability, installation and certification are covered in relevant Standards. NOTE 2 Other statutory and regulatory requirements, such as electrical safety requirements, may be applicable to gas equipment. It is the supplier’s responsibility to ensure that gas equipment conforms with such requirements.
