Abstract

OBJECTIVE The objective of this publication is to provide owners and users of equipment listed below guidelines for inspection, maintenance, repair, and remanufacture procedures that may be utilized to maintain serviceability of the covered equipment. This recommended practice covers the following drilling equipment: a. Rotary tables. b. Rotary bushings. c. Rotary slips. d. Rotary hoses. e. Slush pump components. f. Drawworks components. g. Spiders not capable of use as elevators. h. Manual tongs. i. Safety clamps not used as a hoisting device.
