Abstract

1 Scope This standard provides a standard procedure for measuring, reporting, and certifying the hydraulic-horsepower rating of pumping units used in hydraulic fracturing and cementing services operations. The standard also establishes a recommended format for reporting the performance of such pumping units. This standard is applicable to any type of high pressure pumping unit, regardless of components such as prime movers, transmissions, and pumps.
