Omfang

This document applies to working with the maintenance, repair, modernization, dismantling and inspection of lifts as well as during the installation of new lifts. The document also takes in to account the risks to individuals, animals and property. This document may also be followed, where applicable, to the maintenance and maintenance work of other than the tasks aforementioned above and other equipment, such as escalators, passenger paternoster conveyors, disability and light lifts, rack control apparatus, small lifts, and freight lifts.
