Purpose and Scope The purpose of this standard is to establish the performance requirements of protective systems for operators of wheel-type agricultural tractors to minimize the frequency and severity of operator injury resulting from accidental upsets during normal operations. The test procedure, performance, and other requirements specified are based on currently available engineering data.
