Form This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of pre-alloyed powder. Application This powder has been used typically in additive manufacturing of components requiring moderate strength at room temperature, but usage is not limited to such applications. Classification Powder size and maximum oxygen concentration is specified as follows: Class A: 20-63 μm, maximum oxygen concentration of 0.10% (1,000 ppm). Class B: 15-53 μm, maximum oxygen concentration of 0.15% (1,500 ppm). Class C: 10-90 μm, maximum oxygen concentration of 0.15% (1,500 ppm). Class D: 20-90 μm, maximum oxygen concentration of 0.10% (1,000 ppm).
