Form This specification covers a copper-nickel-tin alloy in the form of plate over 0.188 to 4.50 inches (4.77 to 114.3 mm) in nominal thickness (see 8.8). Application Plate products are for use in parts requiring high strength, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance at moderate temperatures, but usage is not limited to such applications.
