Form: This specification covers two types of an open-cell, medium-flexibility polyurethane foam in the form of sheet, strip, and shapes. Application: These products have been used typically for general interior padding, cushioning, and vibration insulation, but usage is not limited to such applications. Classification: Foam furnished to this specification shall be classified as follows: Type 1 - Polyurethane Foam - Ester Type 2 - Polyurethane Foam - Ether Type 2 shall be supplied unless Type 1 is ordered. Safety - Hazardous Materials: While the materials, methods, applications, and processes described or referenced in this specification may involve the use of hazardous materials, this specification does not address the hazards which may be involved in such use.
