Omfang

The coating/finish system covered by this specification is intended for use on external mold lines of military aerospace weapon systems. In general, the components comprising the coating system work in concert to provide superior weather and chemical resistance with protection against corrosion and may be used in applications other than aerospace weapon systems. Additional testing would be needed to address the specific requirements of other applications. This specification contains military-specific camouflage gloss requirements, gunship gloss requirements, and low-IR requirements.
