This part of ISO 3098 specifies the Cyrillic Russian alphabet 1) for use with texts and/or as symbols in technical drawings and associated documents. It primarily concerns characters written with the aid of stencils, but is equally applicable to freehand lettering or other appropriate methods. 1) Other Cyrillic alphabets include a number of additional characters which should be formed in a similar way.
