Omfang

The present document describes a specific set of technical measures available to detect, prevent, respond, and mitigate damage from the most common to the most advanced of cyber attacks. The measures reflect the combined knowledge of actual attacks and effective defences. The present document is technically equivalent and compatible with the 5.1 version of the "The Critical Security Controls for Effective Cyber Defence," 10 July 2014, which can be found at the website http://www.counciloncybersecurity.org/critical-controls/.
