Omfang

This Standard establishes the essential requirements of a quality program for the manufacture of products used within the general commercial and industrial sectors to facilitate commerce of goods and services. As defined in this Standard, a product can be a service or a physical item. The product may range from raw materials to the finished product used by the end user, an in-process item or material requiring additional processing by one or more organizations, or an item produced for inventory purposes.
