Abstract

Nonheat shrink sleeving is intended for use as a snug fitting electrical insulator over wire bundles, splices, cables, cable harnesses, bus bars, connectors, and terminals, metal or fibrous tubing, hydraulic line couplers, high voltage tubes, flexible wave guides and rectifier leads, as extra insulation over hot spot areas, and as cable blast shield in rocket launching This sleeving should be considered for use as a substitute for heat shrinkable sleeving when it has been determined that the application of heat for shrinking purposes could result in damage to a heat sensitive part or area of assembly.
