Abstract

The coupling assemblies covered by this document are for avionics, low pressure cooling systems, where light weight and limited space are primary concerns.  The couplings are used where it is required to disconnect the fluid lines without necessitating drainage of the system fluid. The couplings are normally installed into a manifold cavity; a misalignment provision during connection is accommodated as specified. The coupling halves are held together by means of external force or locking mechanism respectively.
