Abstract

Form This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forgings, flash-welded rings, drawn shapes 5.000 inches (127.00 mm) and under, and stock for forging or flash-welded rings of any size (see 8.6). Application These products have been used typically for parts requiring a combination of moderate strength and good ductility with a maximum service temperature up to 750 °F (400 °C), depending on time at temperature where the product is to be used in the annealed condition, but usage is not limited to such applications.
