Abstract

Form This specification covers one grade of brass in the form of seamless tubing (see 8.5). Application This tubing has been used typically for parts requiring a combination of moderate strength and ductility and resistance to corrosion by salt water, salt air, or gases, but usage is not limited to such applications. Classification Tubing is classified by types as follows (see 8.5): Type 1 - 100 psi (689 kPa) nominal working pressure Type 2 - 200 psi (1379 kPa) nominal working pressure Type 3 - 300 psi (2068 kPa) nominal working pressure Type 4 - 450 psi (3103 kPa) nominal working pressure
