Abstract

Form This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of plate from 0.250 to 1.500 inches (6.35 to 38.10 mm), inclusive, in thickness (see 8.6).  Application This plate has been used typically for structural applications requiring plate with high strength, moderate fatigue strength, and high fracture toughness, but usage is not limited to such applications.
