Abstract

Form This specification covers a polyalphaolefin/ester-blend fluid. Application This fluid has been used typically to evaluate the ability of elastomeric and other polymeric compounds to conform to designated requirements after contact with, or immersion in, MIL-PRF-83282 and MIL-PRF-87257 hydraulic fluids, at a specific temperature and time, as required by an applicable specification and its use is limited to such applications. This fluid is not intended for operational use in hydraulic systems. Each application should be considered separately. Order of Precedence This specification is in addition to and in no way limiting, superseding, or abrogating any contractual obligation as required by the applicable procurement document. In the event of conflict in requirements, the order of precedence shall be: 1. Statutory and Regulatory Requirements 2. Procurement Document or Contractual Agreement 3. Applicable purchaser’s design data, including the specifications and requirements specified therein 4. This document 5.
