Abstract

This European Standard specifies general requirements for rope leading on inland navigation vessels. This standard is an aid to selecting equipment for rope leading. It specifies general requirements for equipment for rope leading by means of fairleads, roller leads or rope leads as used, for example, for hauling, mooring and coupling inland navigation vessels under certain conditions.
