Abstract

This European Standard specifies a spectrophotometric method for the determination of silicon in zinc alloys. It is applicable to the products specified in EN 1774 and EN 12844. It is suitable for the determination of silicon contents (mass fractions) between 0,01 percent and 0,1 percent.
