Abstract

This standard establishes the requirements to be met by risk analyses used to provide documentation that specified fire safety objectives have been fulfilled. Such objectives may either be defined by the provisions of official regulations or they may be additional requirements defined by a client. The standard applies to risk analyses to be used in safety management in all stages of the life cycle of a construction works (construction, repair, change of use, alterations and demolition). Risk analyses based on this standard may be used an aid designing fire safety measures. This standard applies to all types of construction works on land such as buildings, tunnels and sports centres.
